Thinking of getting one of these passes for a trip in a few months. Does anyone know if you need to reserve stuff in advance? Or can you just rock up to places with the pass?

Yeah for most things you can just show up and scan your phone, it's pretty sweet. But I know for some of the popular tours like the swamp or plantation ones, you DEFINITELY want to book ahead. They fill up fast.

i think it depends on the place. some you gotta reserve for sure, especially if it's a tour with limited spots. i just checked the website for the ones i wanted to do and it usually said there.

Hey guys, trying to decide between this New Orleans Pass and just booking stuff individually through Viator. Anyone have experience with both? Is the pass *really* worth it if you plan to do a lot?

So I used the New Orleans Pass last year for a 3-day trip and honestly, it saved me a ton. Especially if you hit 2-3 big attractions a day. Doing the math on individual tickets vs. the pass, it was way cheaper. Plus, way less hassle at each place.

It really depends on how much you cram in. If you're doing like, one thing a day, probably not. But if you're hitting Mardi Gras World AND a ghost tour AND a museum, then yeah, it's a good deal. Just make sure to check the specific attractions you want to hit against what's included.
